高能物理新进展

叙述了近年来高能物理研究取得的新进展，如顶夸克的发现、三代夸克的实验证据、轻子普适性的实验检验．文章还对国际高能物理发展的趋势及中国高能物理的计划进行了介绍．     

Two body non-leptonic decaysB →Dπ with heavy quark and chiral symmetry

We have analysed the two body non-leptonic charmed-meson decays of heavyB meson based on the factorization assumption. The transition matrix elements and the corresponding decay widths are calculated in the heavy quark and chiral symmetry limit and the Isgur-Wise function present in the expression is determined by the wave function model of Aliet al. The results obtained are quite interesting and agree reasonably well with the experimental data.     

Static observables of relativistic three-fermion systems with instantaneous interactions

We show that static properties like the charge radius and the magnetic moment of relativistic three-fermion bound states with instantaneous interactions can be formulated as expectation values with respect to intrinsically defined wave functions. The resulting operators can be given a natural physical interpretation in accordance with relativistic covariance. We also indicate how the formalism may be generalized to arbitrary moments. The method is applied to the computation of static baryon properties with numerical results for the nucleon charge radii and the baryon octet magnetic moments. In addition, we make predictions for the magnetic moments of some selected nucleon resonances and discuss the decomposition of the nucleon magnetic moments in contributions of spin and angular momentum, as well as the evolution of these contributions with decreasing quark mass.

本文描述寻找顶夸克的漫长过程。从70年代末开始,美国的PEP,德国的PETRA,80年代日本的TRISTAN,欧洲核子中心CERN的SP PS质子反质子对撞机,90年代的CERN的LEP大型电子正电子对撞机,最后于1997年才由美国费米国家实验室的D0和CDF国际合作组找到了顶夸克存在的证据,并给出了顶夸克的质量为:174.3±3.2±4.0GeV。人们可以从这段历史获得有益的启示。     

Quantum states with continuous spectrum for a general time-dependent oscillator

We investigated quantum states with continuous spectrum for a general time-dependent oscillator using invariant operator and unitary transformation methods together. The form of the transformed invariant operator by a unitary operator is the same as the Hamiltonian of the simple harmonic oscillator:I’ = p²/2 +ω ² q ²/2. The fact thatω ² of the transformed invariant operator is constant enabled us to investigate the system separately for three cases, whereω ² > 0,ω ² < 0, andω ² = 0. The eigenstates of the system are discrete forω ² > 0. On the other hand, forω ² <− 0, the eigenstates are continuous. The time-dependent oscillators whose spectra of the wave function are continuous are not oscillatory. The wave function forω ² < 0 is expressed in terms of the parabolic cylinder function. We applied our theory to the driven harmonic oscillator with strongly pulsating mass.

Nucleon Spin Structure Functions in the Resonance Region and the Duality

We discuss the nucleon spin structure function gl and the difference between the proton and neutrontargets gp1 - gn1 , based on quark model calculation. Quark-hadron duality for the nucleon spin structure function is alsoanalyzed. Effects of the △(1232) and Roper P11(1440) resonances on the spin structure function and on the differencegn1 - gn1 are mentioned. The results of different models for the Roper resonance are also addressed.     

A relativistic study of the nucleon helicity amplitudes

Abstact: We perform a calculation of the relativistic transition form factors for the electromagnetic excitation of the nucleon resonances. We use as input the 3-quark wave functions obtained in a Constituent Quark Model with three-body forces in the hypercentral approach. With respect to the non relativistic calculations a significant contribution is obtained up to Q ²≃ 2 (GeV/c)². However, the low Q ²-behaviour exhibits a lack of strength, which may be connected with the need of taking into account explicitly further degrees of freedom beyond the three constituent quark ones.
